السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

these are some common phrases in Arabic, instead of writing them in latin letters:

salam alycum : السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

shukran: شكراً

wa alycum assalam....:و عليكم السلام ....

jazaka allah khairan: جزاك الله خيراً

kaifa haluk/haluki? : كيف حالكَ/حالكِ

what more phrases would you like me to write?

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

In fact, all transcriptions are false. Arabic have to be written in arabic. If you see through the forum, we avoid all this many many way to used latins letters for bad transcriptions.

There is 28 letters in arabic. Who want to learn arabic have to let down definitively the latin letters : so logic ! Only 28 letters to learn.

Imagine one second : why don't we let down latin letter to write english : وي ?

Is arabic inferior to latin ?

I study semantic and origin of word. So if you want, we can study the real meaning in english (and french) of these sentences. Much more useful than latin letter who don't reflect arabic language.

شكراً

We have the morphem K+R means repetition like a retro-action (with the meaning to give back) une reconnaissance.
The Sh means to spread, to be public or many, many way.

شكر To give back in many way, many form.

Another topic where we need arab speakers. Here we make a study of verb with preposition :

Sister we can see the translation here. A way to learn french.

جَزَأَ
This word express a division, a part for a whole thing.

Here the thing divided is the خير and in french we find un bien (some thing useful and pleasant).

جزاك الله خيراً
Que Dieu te lotisse d'un bien.

  • The verb is lotir and means to part. We have the noun : un lot.

  • Here the conjugation is the subjonctif présent (assimilate to the منصوب فعل at the present) and this is cause the first particule of this french sentences que (que is the object case -منصوب-).

  • The arabic pronom for ك is toi/te from tu ( = أنت ).

We'll translate all the sentences you'll bring إن شاء الله.
