Re: Traduction histoire arabe - français
Yes, here, I think this is a past subjunctive but for the translation until زَوْجَتُهُ(après que sa femme ait prié) this is a past subjunctive and it's the translating of بعد أن صلت ? right ?
Here the word "la première" refers to what ? as I understand from it's site on the sentence you wrote it refers to the Isha' prayer (night prayer).
Here the sentence : after his first wife prayed al Isha'
Here and with my first translation "la première" referred to the word الأُولى and Isha' prayer : "la première prière de la nuit". And we saw with Ibn Nacer that it's more sense the word الأُولى refers to زَوْجَتُهُ and not Isha' prayer and you confirm it.
Here I can't understand how did you translate ودعت الله تعالى. I can't find the word which give the meaning of دعت. would you explain it to me
ودعت الله تعالى for Allah le Très Haut fît venir
Probably this is not the best translation for the meaning of دعت. Is that its root is دع ?
Jamal.Ali wrote "à réaliser" and this is the same idea of "fît venir". I cannot explain the difference between both easily and precisely but i think we can translate by using present (like Jamal.Ali) or past like me.
Ok, you say that العَشاءَ it's a dinner (yes "dîner") and العِشاءَ means Isha' prayer and both independently of the word تناول ?Here the word العشاء does not mean Isha' prayer, it has a فتحه on the letter ع and تناول العشاء means to have a dinner,
"dîner" as I think
You mean the same name of a same person written in several ways in this book ?
I don't think that it's the same person and i'm not sure that is always a person. I think there are only one person with this name but not sure. I just fly a few pages and saw the same write than the name.

The verb is دَعا and it's root is دُعَاء. It's on فُعَال, like سَأل : سُؤال
ودعت الله تعالى for Allah le Très Haut fît venir
Probably this is not the best translation for the meaning of دعت. Is that its root is دع ?

You say that "fît venir" and "à réaliser" have the same idea and could the give the meaning of دعت, so the word "demendé" or "a demendé" refers to what ? what does it mean ? ( I think he mean demandé ).
it's on Jamal.Ali's translation :
ودَعَت الله تَعالى أَنْ يُحَقِّق حُلْمَهُما وَ يَرْزُقَهُما بِمَوْلود
Et elle a demendé Allah le Très Haut à réaliser son rêve et à leur donner un enfant.
I'm not sure about what do you mean exactly from independently, but I can say :Ok, you say that العَشاءَ it's a dinner (yes "dîner") and العِشاءَ means Isha' prayer and both independently of the word تناول ?
with the word العِشاء which means the prayer it doesn't work with it at all.
With the word العَشاء you have to use it, like when you say "eating the dinner" or "having the dinner". The word العَشاء alone means the meal but when you want to say : I'm eating the dinner you say : أنا أتناول العَشاء.
I think "prendre dîner" could give you an idea about it :
I don't know is it enough to use the word " dîner" as a verb to express the meaning ? or to give the same meaning ?تَمَدَّدَّت على سَرِيرِها قَبْل تَناوُل العَشاءِ مَعَ زَوْجِها المَلِك
Elle s'est allongée sur son lit avant de prendre dîner avec son époux le roi.

Re: Traduction histoire arabe - français
Thank you to Hadeel and Jamal.Ali.
Oui le verbe دعا a le sens de : invoquer, demander, implorer... Il peut avoir d'autres sens comme prêcher, inviter, appeler, nommer....
Sa racine est [ د ع و], c'est un verbe de forme I (فَعَلَ), à l’origine on a دَعَوَ qui après transformation s’écrit دَعا.
Wa Allâhu a'lam.

Sorry, I misspoke. From time to time, it can give the same idea but less often I think it may seem.
For example:
He made traders come to his village.
Il fît venir des commerçants dans son village.
He realized the arrival of traders in the village
Il réalisa la venue de commerçants dans son village.
Confusion (mine) actually comes from the particle أَنْ يُحَقِّق which suggests to me that what follows is an action name. I wrote "la concrétisation" (réalisation/concrétisation both same meaning i think too) when Jamal.Ali wrote "à réaliser" and Ibn Nacer "Afin qu'il réalise". I think this 3 translations ok.
The second point is that I thought was الله subject of the verb دعت where the vowel (a) otherwise identifying 'wife' in the subject would be the vowel (°). So "Elle a demandé à Allah" is the correct translation.
Hadeel a écrit:I don't know is it enough to use the word " dîner" as a verb to express the meaning ? or to give the same meaning ?
I think we can write and say :
1/Elle s'est allongée sur son lit avant de prendre le dîner avec son époux le roi.
2/Elle s'est allongée sur son lit avant de dîner avec son époux le roi.
3/Elle s'est allongée sur son lit avant qu'elle dîne avec son époux le roi.
4/Elle s'est allongée sur son lit avant qu'elle ne dîne avec son époux le roi.
I think 3 / and 4 / is less far as the original text because we have تَناوُل which is a conjugated verb and not an action name . But all give us the same meaning.
