I didn't see the pronoun, which take back the word واجبات, but syntaxically, I don't understand this syntaxe : يعترف بواجباته. Why this preposition ? بِ introduce a maneer, a way to do (adverbial).

There are many uses for the letter ب but I think it's used here for making an object( for making the word واجبات an object) we call this " التعدية " to make the verb transitive. I'm not sure is it the right case here !

About Remplir (fulfil) in arabic :
I found لَبَّى very appropriate, isn't it ?
And أدى - تأدية
أدى الشيء : قام به ، أتمه ، أكمله
It is correct too.

The word لبِّى here is not suitable, it could give the same meaning but it's not compotaible with this sentence.
