This letter is early associate to the water. Men of middle-east, living in desert, need this capitale wealth, and men live always near a place of water. This letter take early the mening of place to live (then village, then cities).

Alors, le concept ن entra en grammaire pour signifier le cas indéfini d'un mot, un concept abstrait d'unité, un générique.

Le latin, comme le français, espagnol ou anglais portent tous cet étymon pour signifier l'unité générique : un, uno, one. Elle servira a construire également des articles indéfinis (un, uno, an).
L'arabe également se servira de cet outil pour marquer les cas indéfinis, en -an, -un, -in, et dans le générique amené par un pluriel régulier en ون (-un) ou ين (-yn) en suffixation au mot.

من en latin MN porte aussi le sens d'unité, simplement : MoNo. De là le sens de moine (celui qui se retire pour être seul, dans un lieu) dans un lieu appelé monastère. Ce concept signifie infini (indéfini) => "dans le Un".

Schème

Nous avons une كسرة sur la 1ère radicale et une حركة finale (arr. phonétique).
Le "i" signifie l'actualisation, la prise en main et sera donc la marque de l'outil. L'ensemble signifie "qqc extrait d'une catégorie", c'est un partitif.

Nous avons فتحة sur la 1ère radicale et une non-essentielle حركة.
Le "a" signifie toute disposition, une place et un moment où s'installer.

Le 1er est un outil, une préposition, le second appelle des précisions.

مَن : nous avons vu le sens du م, c'est un lieu pour vivre, c'est aussi pour extension, un matériel, une chose, un être. La seconde lettre ن est un générique, et voilà le sens complet de مَنْ (quiconque). والله أعلم

This letter was an arm on shoulder, and carrying the meaning to accompagn, to be closed to, contact.
By extension, it means full, fermely, plein.

ب b
This letter was associate with things moving always, something to transport (think to the word bedouin). بيت in itself means "to rest by -i.e night-", find in old saxon betti which became bed.
This letter is an identified meaning, as preposition : by. This english concept is totally near the hebrew-arabic one : by it's a tool which allow to bring a verbal noun, a manner, a way to do.
ب as the letter which allow to enter : The Tora and Qur'an start with it.
To introduce-concept : باب, أب, bible (from phenician and old aramaic origin "Door of Gods" -Babel-).

ب allow to came from a place to another : ذهب. So B can do Balance, from one side to the other (just look the graph and the dot).

With صب we have the concept of recovering, as a liquid (or plaster) can do over an object. The contact ص is expressed, and with ب with have a circulation, a movment (recorering totally). See now the etymon : صَبّ (pouring).

The morning is the moment of the light recovering totally the أرض. This is a kind of ongoing, expressed by the letter ب.
This way, this verb is associate to the verb of existence, كان and it work as an attributive verb : recovering the beeing of what ?

Autre mot, deux nouvelles lettres :



ص s
Cette lettre représentait un bras prenant une épaule, et porte le sens accompagnement, de grande proximité : un contact. Par extension, elle signifiera tout aussi bien un plein, qqc de concret, ferme et remplie.

ب b
Cette lettre exprime le déplacement (voir bédouin). La "maison" (le foyer) بيت en lui-même signifie "passer un temps -passer la nuit-". Le passage est exprimé dans la lettre B.
Son sens est identifié en grammaire, les prépositions : en ou by en anglais. Elles introduisent des locutions adverbiales, des façons de faire.

ب comme lettre permettant d'introduire : la Torah et le Qur'an commence par elle.
Pour introduire sur un concept : باب, أب, bible (du phénicien et d'un mot ancien "Porte des dieux" -Babel-).

ب permet d'aller d'une place à une autre : ذهب. Le B balance, juste à regarder le graphème, et penser au قلب.

Avec صب  nous avons le concept de recouvrir quelque chose, comme un liquide peut le faire (ou du plâtre) sur un objet. Le contact ص  est exprimé, et avec ب nous avons un mouvement, allant jusqu'à tout recouvrir. Voir maintenant l'étymon : صَبّ (remplir, verser).

Le matin est le moment où la lumière recouvre la surface de la terre, peu à peu, comme un versement de lumière sur  أرض. Verser exprime un mouvement : ب.

C'est donc pour ces raisons que ce mot est un verbe d'existence, (voir أَصْبَحَ verbe dit du "devenir". Ce verbe est associé aux verbes d'existence comme كان et travaille également comme un verbe attributif.

ي y

We have a determinant meaning for mood of beeing. This letter is strongly associate with the power of an hand.
From the hebrew, the Torah, we have this letter as the letter of Allah the Most-Hight. For jews, in the Torah, Allah answer to Musa, peace on him, when he ask "Who are you, and how I can explain to people who you are ?" Allah gave a name-sentence very well-known by jews and christians : I am who I'll be.
The conjugation change according to their creeds, but the hebrew keep that : YHWH, named the tetragram.

The ي have various use, the first it's to express the Present, but also the Will upon thing. The One who controle the Present, the One who can grap the "here and now", Allah تعالى.
This is why the pattern Fa3iYL express this Actualisation in رَحِيم > actualy, and رَحْمان > totally.
Do we have to explain the ي in conjugation, prefixed to a verb, the 3rd person masculine of the present ?

This is the letter for another mood of the beeing. This letter is a tool in anciant hebrew. It the little pieces which allow fixing tents on the ground, and later, all pieces of wood between 2 parts of a machine.
This concept is associated with a neutral idea, no will within, and allow to coordinate elements.
This is its use in arabic and hebrew grammar, till today.
This letter is also associated by extension to a tool to submit, coordinate 2 elements.

The pattern


With all informations we saw, it can't signify the word day or jour (french) or diurn (latin).

The very structure of this word it's only م because the 2 others are quiescent letters (i prefere to not considere all them as consonnant), variation of mood, instable.
We have ي and م connected by و. This word express very strongly the Power of Allah in all thing (all place = م).

So يََوْم, is it a place, or a moment ?
And why so much م in the latin word moment ?... Universal topic ! This topic is not only for deep understanding of arabic, but european languages.
