Re: Hadeel
Rather, select first the most common structures for complement of cause. The goal is to gather all of them found in the Qur'an.
With the first one we saw, there is a مصدر as complement of cause. There is also the use of لام with its omited أن particle. Maybe other forms too.
This way, I show you the french equivalent form.

Re: Hadeel
I don't know how or where to start and which is the most common so I decide to start from the first and find all of the مفعول لإجله can be found in سورة البقرة, I will put them here and I will write the إعرب one by one. OK

Re: Hadeel
Yes, this way we analyse both structures, french and arabic.
It need more clarifications, and only analysing a serial, we could make it clear إن شاء الله.
See the first case :
الْمَوْتِ | حَذَرَ | الصَّوَاعِقِ | مِّنَ | ... | ـــهِم | آذَانِـــ | فِي | ـــهُمْ | أَصَابِعَـــ | يَجْعَلُونَ |
مُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ | مُضَافٌ
إِضَافَةٌ | ||||||||||
First the french grammarians mixe these two arabic concepts : مفعول له and مفعول لأجله. And in our sentence, we have both cases separated and dictinct, in names, but also in meaning.
I would named :
- the first one (مفعول له) le Complément de Cause.
- The second one (مفعول لأجله) le Complément de Conséquence.
The second problem is about the مفعول لأجله :
Why حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ is not simply a حال ? This action occure in the same time as the verb جعل.
In french, we have a participe présent "craignant la mort" (from the verb craindre). Ce second word is its object.
Only with other examples we could clearly إن شاء الله identify the names of these complements.

Re: Hadeel
Yes, I'm actually studying this one. Many possibilities:
تمييز
مفعول لأجله
حال
It confirms in a way what I said previously : why not a حال ?
In french, we had studied this point in our first lessons :
Le Gérondif as complement of a verb.
For this verse, the french translation given its a past participle :
Comme est vil ce contre quoi ils ont troqué leurs âmes ! Ils ne croient pas en ce qu'Allah a fait descendre, révoltés à l'idée qu'Allah, de par Sa grâce, fasse descendre la révélation sur ceux de Ses serviteurs qu'Il veut. Ils ont donc acquis colère sur colère, car un châtiment avilissant attend les infidèles !
