An Arabic sentence (جُمْلَة Jumlah) as an example on Parts of Speech:

حُرُوف means letters, particles, and this word is a plural form of حَرْف like feet of foot.
- اِسْم (noun) is for name of concret or abstract thing, and the proper name for a person or a thing or place well-known, example مُحَمَّدٌ is Mohammad, it's a name of a person and السُّوق is the market, it's a name of a place. We have 2 nouns in this sentence: Mohammad and market, here with the definite article = ال.
