Can you explain what you understand by "cause" and by "consequence" ?

According to verse 2.19, try to make the difference between الفعول لإجله and المفعول له.

If you don't see difference in this verse, so give me your definition of cause and consequence.

Ok, I will try to explain to you what do I mean :

You said this :

First the french grammarians mixe these two arabic concepts : مفعول له and مفعول لأجله. And in our sentence, we have both cases separated and dictinct, in names, but also in meaning.
I would named :
- the first one (مفعول له) le Complément de Cause.
- The second one (مفعول لأجله) le Complément de Conséquence.

And

The main action : to put
The Complement of Cause (reason) : مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ
And the Consequence of the previous : حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ

But I can't find any different between them, الفعول له و المفعول لإجله give the same meaning which is : cause !!
There is no different to do the action لإجله or to do the action له, in the same cases you do the action for a reason or cause, which we can express it in له or لاجله.
I can't understand what is the consequence in حذر الموت, for me it's the reason of putting their fingers in their ears from the thunderbolt, the cause that they are fairing from the death.
